I am a licensed mental health counselor associate (LMHCA MC60696090) in Washington State, and an affiliate of Northwest Family Life.
I graduated with my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in working with Indigenous communities from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients from a strength-based model using narrative therapy, somatic experiencing, and lifespan integration.
I am a certified teacher in British Columbia, and have a Bachelor of Education from the University of Victoria as well. During high school, my family lived in India and I graduated from Kodaikanal International School in Tamil Nadu.
I am registered as a mental health therapist and school counselor. I have worked with children (ages 8+), teenagers, college students and adults. I interned at Sound Mental Health with adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
In addition, I have over 10 years of experience with adolescents and families as a teacher, counselor, and outdoor educator/guide in public and private schools.
I love being outside--from gardening to surfing, biking, hiking, or skiing--I believe that movement and being in nature is one of the best ways to heal. I also love reading by the fire, drinking tea in the morning, and camping in vans. I strive to play the piano and speak Spanish conversationally.
